Baby appt for 16 weeks

Well this pregnancy sure is flying by! At the end of December I will be officially at the half-way point!

I had an appt this past week. The baby is doing awesome. I've started feeling all the bumps and movements lately. They are very predictable, every morning, after I eat and before bed. Every once in a while I'll get a hard poke if I bend weird and squish the wee one inside. It's hard not to bend in the middle when you are constantly picking up little kids. Squat Dana. Squat.

I was measuring 19 weeks at 16 weeks which puts me a bit ahead still. It should even out by my next months appt. The baby's heartbeat was a good 156, which is a girl if you follow the old wives tales. We have so far decided NOT to find out the gender and wait until this little one is born.

I've been feeling good. A bit tired and not eating as much as I should. I haven't gained any weight yet this pregnancy and my midwife wants to see some gained by next month.

Well I'm going to go eat something now that I'm thinking about it! Love you all!

Kids Appts

The kids all just had their well child checkups. Hudson is a healthy little guy, weighing in at 22lbs and 31 inches which is about 50th percentile for both height and weight. Jonas is 43 lbs and 41 inches which is 99th & 90th, which the doc said he was very proportional and will prbly lean out a bit as he gets taller, he's just a big guy. Madelyn was 42lbs and 43 inches which was 75th and 70th, so slightly taller/larger than avg. He said they are all well proportioned and healthy and happy. Madelyn has some dry skin issues and eczema we are treating with some OTC steroid creams and also some oils as well as a diet change to pinpoint what could be aggravating her apparently genetic condition. All the kids got some shots, so far Jonas is the only one with a strong fever and vomiting, the rest are just a bit grumpy. It definitely makes me glad we selective vax and delay schedules. Our doc is really cool about that, he only gives 2 shots at a time anyway.

I also had a MW appt a few weeks ago, we were able to hear the baby's heartbeat, about 160 and strong. I was measuring 13 weeks (at almost 12 weeks) so I may just be a bit big since it's my 4th pregnancy or I may be a week further into the pregnancy than we thought. I'm doing well, feeling good now that the nausea of the first trimester is over. Its been difficult to get in enough calories while running after all the kids and so far I've actually lost a few pounds instead of gaining. Hopefully I will be able to get back on track with all that now that I'm feeling better. Jeremy and I have been trying to figure out what kinds of things we will have to do after number 4 is here, I'm sure it's a different ballgame having a 18 month old to take care of plus a newborn....nap times should be *interesting*

That's all going on here for now! Added pics!
