Surprise visit from Grandpa Gerrits!

We got a visit from Grandpa Gerrits! The kids were so excited they had another person to jump on! We had a good time and even got the old man to play Wii with Jeremy. Jeff kicked Jeremy's butt at bowling, but Jeremy won a boxing match. I wish I would've gotten pictures of that...it was HILARIOUS!

Hey Look! Real snow!!!

Here are some pics Jeremy snapped when he was out shoveling the driveway a couple of days ago! We plan on going out later today to play in the backyard, it's supposed to be 40 degrees. Perfect snowman weather! More pics to come!

Yes, as a Yooper, I realize this is ridiculous. I mean it doesn't even count if you can still see grass underneath right?!?!?!? LOL

Trip to the Train Expo!!!

The kids had a lot of fun! Our favorite things were the Lego Trains and the riding train. We also got an opportunity to add to Jonas' train collection with more wooden tracks and little magnetic trains.
